The Roccolo site is a great success story for us, there we can test new sensors and new irrigation practices before putting them into the production line. The first harvest of 2024 marks a solid milestone for us at Weatherbound, we are now ready to expand the smart irrigation solution on a wider scale.
Our story: From inception to innovation
Weatherbound AG was founded in 2023 by Noè Zardi with the vision to improve agriculture’s resilience towards the challenges of climate change.
Already in 2023 the company completed a network of 7 pilot sites all over Switzerland to test and benchmark our hardware and software integrated smart irrigation and monitoring solutions.
As of now, the company has a young team of 6 specialists and partners with 6 pioneer Swiss farmers.
